Bug Off™ anti-mosquito treatment helps
to minimize the chance of mosquito bites. Mosquitoes and other insects are repelled by a naturally occurring plant extract embedded within the fibres of the fabric. The Bug Off™ insect repelling
fabric treatment remains active for a considerable time even after repeated washing.
Additionally, this fabric has a high UV resistance and wicks moisture away from the skin’s surface. Bug Off™ multi-function outdoor fabrics are exclusive to Mont.

SUN PROTECTION
Ultraviolet radiation or UV, is present in sunlight. Sunburn is a sign that your skin has received too much UV. Over-exposure to UV over many years can cause serious health problems. It is often difficult to tell if a fabric offers good sun protection.
Lowe Alpine uses the AS/NZ5499 standard which has been developed in Australia and New Zealand. The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) shows how well a fabric protects your skin from solar UV and lets you select sun protective clothing with confidence. The table shows how well fabrics of various UPF ratings block UV. |
